§ 27-101-305 — Display of number

(a) (1) The owner shall procure and attach to each side of the bow of the motorboat numbers conforming to the certificate of number issued to the owner by the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration. (2) The numbers to be procured and attached shall be at least three inches (3") in height and of block character, and shall be attached to the forward half of each side of the vessel and clearly visible, pursuant to federal law, and attached in such a manner and position on the boat as may be prescribed by the rules of the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission in order that they may be clearly visible. (b) The numbers shall be maintained in legible condition. (c) No number other than the number awarded to a motorboat or granted reciprocity provided for in § 27-101-302(1) shall be painted, attached, or otherwise displayed on either side of the bow of the motorboat.
