Text
(a)For the purpose of more effectively cooperating with the United States in the acquisition, development, and maintenance of refuges for migratory waterfowl and other wildlife, consent is granted to the United States to acquire, by purchase, condemnation, gift, lease, or exchange, lands and waters within the State of Arkansas which the United States Secretary of Agriculture may deem necessary and suitable in furtherance of the Migratory Bird Treaty, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and the Migratory Bird Conservation Act.
(b)The jurisdiction of the State of Arkansas, both civil and criminal, over persons in the areas acquired and on privately owned property thereon shall not be affected or changed by reason of their acquisition and administration by the United States as migratory waterfow
