Text
(a)The Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism, in addition to any other powers granted in this chapter, shall have the sole authority to lease state park lands to private companies and to authorize the lessees to construct, maintain, and operate overnight accommodation facilities, recreational facilities, and the other major facilities which the department may deem appropriate.
(b)Any lease executed by the department shall include provisions satisfactory to the department regarding the quality of services and facilities to be furnished by the lessee and the charges to be made therefor, or provisions reserving to the department the right to monitor and inspect the activities and facilities of the lessee to assure that the quality of the services and facilities provided by the lessee a
