(a)Before any state agency shall undertake a capital improvement project, as defined in § 22-3-501 , on the State Capitol grounds, a request shall be filed with the Capitol Arts and Grounds Commission for its review of the proposed project.
(b)The commission may require that applications include:
(1)Architectural and landscaping plans, if appropriate, for the project; and (2) Sufficient information to demonstrate compliance with applicable standards for development.
(c)Upon receipt of a request for review of a project, the commission shall hold a public meeting for the purpose of obtaining the views of the public on the proposed project.
