(a)In the event an officer or agency relocates an office and related staff from or within the State Capitol Building at the request of the Joint Interim Committee on Legislative Facilities and the officer or agency does not have an appropriation sufficient to pay the moving costs, rents, costs of making necessary modifications to rented space, or other costs associated with the move, the Bureau of Legislative Research may expend from appropriations authorized for the bureau such additional funds as may be required to assist such officer or agency in paying the additional costs.
(b)When any area in the State Capitol Building is vacated, the Secretary of State and the Joint Interim Committee on Legislative Facilities shall jointly decide who shall occupy the vacated area.
