Text

(a)The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the construction and reconstruction of roads and bridges in the state highway system by the State Highway Commission. Except as specifically provided in Title 24, neither the provisions of this chapter nor the provisions of any other chapter of the Code shall apply to any lands, buildings, or other structures or facilities now owned or hereafter acquired by the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, as defined in the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System Affordable Housing Investment Act, § 24-7-1401 et seq. [repealed], as an investment or as a result of the investment of assets of the system or pursuant to the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System Affordable Housing Investment Act, § 24-7-1401 et seq. [repealed].
