(a)(1) Before the Post-Prison Transfer Board grants a transfer of an inmate to post-release supervision, the board shall solicit the written recommendations of the committing court, the prosecuting attorney, and the county sheriff of the county from which the inmate was committed.
(2)Notification of the committing court, the prosecuting attorney, county sheriff, and the victim or the victim's next of kin for an inmate under sentence for an offense governed by this section shall follow the procedures stated in this section.
(b)(1) If the inmate whose transfer to post-release supervision is being considered by the board is under sentence for a felony other than a felony in the target group as defined in § 16-93-1202 , the board shall also notify the victim of the offense or the victim's n
