Appeals in criminal cases shall take precedence over all other business of the Supreme Court and shall be placed first upon the docket for trial. Crim. Code, § 349; C. & M. Dig., § 3431; Pope's Dig., § 4274; A.S.A. 1947, § 43-2702.
