(a)After the time for redemption has expired, the sheriff or his or her successor shall convey by deed the property sold under the provisions of this subchapter to the person entitled thereto.
(b)Upon the conveyance, the grantee, if possession is not delivered within ten (10) days, may proceed by forcible detainer to be put in possession thereof. Civil Code, § 697; C. & M. Dig., §§ 4334, 4340, 4841; Pope's Dig., §§ 5346, 5352, 6038; A.S.A. 1947, § 30-445.
