Text
Every sheriff or other officer to whom any execution may be delivered shall endorse thereon the hour, day of the month, and year when it came to his or her hands. Rev. Stat., ch. 60, § 25; C. & M. Dig., § 4269; Pope's Dig., § 5281; A.S.A. 1947, § 30-115.
