In all cases of a trial of charges, the accused may except to any decision of the court and may prosecute an appeal to the Supreme Court, or writ of error, in all respects as in actions at law. Rev. Stat., ch. 15, § 25; C. & M. Dig., § 623; Pope's Dig., § 663; A.S.A. 1947, § 25-414.
