Text
Upon the return of every summons served, the clerk shall enter upon the docket the name of the defendant or defendants summoned and the day of the service upon each one. The entry shall be evidence of the service of summons in case of the loss thereof. Civil Code, § 771; C. & M. Dig., § 1376; Pope's Dig., § 1637; A.S.A. 1947, § 23-102.
