Text

(a)Except as otherwise provided by this subchapter, no member of any board, commission, agency, authority, or other governing body of any governmental entity and no member of the board of directors of a nonprofit corporation that holds a valid federal income tax exemption issued by the Internal Revenue Service shall be held personally liable for damages resulting from:
(1)Any negligent act or omission of an employee of the nonprofit corporation or governmental entity; or (2) Any negligent act or omission of another director or member of the governing body of the governmental entity.
(b)The same immunity provided by this subchapter shall be extended to any athletic official during the officiating of an interscholastic, intercollegiate, or any other amateur athletic contest being conducte
