Text

(a)The Arkansas Supreme Court is authorized to provide for the publication by private publishing firms of the Arkansas Model Criminal Jury Instructions and the Arkansas Model Civil Jury Instructions for use in the trial courts of this state.
(b)The Supreme Court shall solicit proposals from reputable publishing firms and may enter into contracts with the publishing firms which are deemed by the court to offer the best proposals for the separate publication of the Arkansas Model Criminal Jury Instructions and the Arkansas Model Civil Jury Instructions, with provision being made for the publication from time to time of pocket part supplements containing revisions or additions to the instructions if the prices at which the publishers propose to sell the Arkansas Model Criminal Jury Instruct
