§ 16-10-602 — Establishment of city and county shares

(a) Pursuant to §§ 16-10-307(c) and 16-10-308(c) , each town, city, and county may retain a portion of the uniform court costs and filing fees collected and deposited into the city or county administration of justice fund. (b) On or before the first day of October of each year, the Department of Finance and Administration shall certify in writing to each county and to each town or city which operates a district court the amount of money which may be retained during each month of the following calendar year by the town, city, or county.
