Text

The Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House shall be allowed 16 weeks within which to check, compare, and deliver the journals of the Senate and the House of Representatives of each session of the Legislature to the Secretary of State and the state printer. The journals of the 10-day or organization session of the Legislature shall be compiled, combined, and filed with the journals of the next ensuing regular session. The time allowed after final adjournment of any session, other than the 10-day or organization sessions, for the filing of the journals in the Office of the Secretary of State and completing the work specified by this section shall be 16 weeks.
