Text
Any nonprofit association of producers of eggs and egg products or any nonprofit association organized for the benefit and betterment of the poultry industry of the State of Alabama may make application to the State Board of Agriculture and Industries for certification and approval for the purpose of conducting a referendum among owners or others in possession of hens who are engaged in egg production in the State of Alabama, upon the question of levying an assessment and collecting, expending and utilizing the same for the purpose or purposes authorized under this article and as stated in such referendum. Any nonprofit association approved or certified under this article by the State Board of Agriculture and Industries shall be authorized to execute or carry out such a promotional program
