Text

(a)The Alabama Professional Bail Bonding Board is created to administer and enforce this article. The board shall consist of all of the following members:
(1)Seven professional bondsmen, one from each of the seven congressional districts of the state, nominated by the Alabama Bail Bond Association and appointed by the Governor from a list of not more than four nominees for each position on the board. For the initial terms of office, the President of the Alabama Bail Bond Association shall be the professional bondsman member of the board who represents the congressional district in which he or she resides.
