The initial decision in this case and related rulings are reported at 384 F.Supp. 312 (W.D.Wash.1974), 520 F.2d 676 (9th Cir. 1975), cert. denied, 423 U.S. 1086, 96 S.Ct. 877, 47 L.Ed.2d 97 (1976), rehearing denied 424 U.S. 978, 96 S.Ct. 1487, 47 L.Ed.2d 750 (1976). Subsequent decisions and orders of a substantive nature rendered through June 30, 1978 are reported at 459 F.Supp. 1020 (W.D.Wash.1978). Various appeals were affirmed sub nom., Puget Sound Gillnetters’ Association v. United States District Court, 573 F.2d 1123 (9th Cir.1978), affd in part, vacated in part, and remanded sub nom., Washington v. Washington State Commercial Passenger Fishing Vessel Association, 443 U.S. 658, 99 S.Ct. 3055, 61 L.Ed.2d 823 (1979), remanded to District Court for continuing jurisdiction, 605 F.2d 492 (9th Cir.1979).

Further decisions and orders of a substantive nature issued through December 31,1985, except for those already published at 476 F.Supp. 1101 (1979) and 506 F.Supp. 187 (1980), are set forth or summarized below. Senior District Judge George H. Boldt presided over the case until late 1979. Thereafter, Senior District Judge Walter E. Craig of the District of Arizona has presided. The following compilation was prepared for publication under the direction of and approved by Judge Craig.
