Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Schenectady County (Córtese, J.), rendered February 18, 2005, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree (two counts) and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (two counts).

Following a jury trial, defendant was found guilty of two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree stemming from sales of crack cocaine to confidential informants in the course of separate drug operations conducted by the City of Schenectady Police Department.
