The Court of Appeals hereby passes the following order:

A26A2403. LINDA FAYE HAGANS v. VIEW VALLEY HOME LOAN et al.

In this foreclosure action, Linda Faye Hagans filed a petition to transfer her case from superior court to the state-wide business court without paying the filing fee. The business court concluded that it lacked subject matter jurisdiction over the action and denied Hagans’s transfer request. Hagans then filed a notice of appeal. This Court, however, lacks jurisdiction.

As a general rule, transfer orders are interlocutory. See In the Interest of W. L., 335 Ga. App. 561, 561-62 (782 SE2d 464) (2016). Accordingly, to appeal the superior court’s order, Hagans was required to comply with the interlocutory appeal procedures of OCGA § 5-6-34(b), which include obtaining a certificate of immediate review from the superior court and filing an application for interlocutory appeal. See In the Interest of W. L., 335 Ga. App. at 563; Mauer v. Parker Fibernet, LLC, 306 Ga. App. 160, 161 (701 SE2d 599) (2010).

Hagans’s failure to comply with the interlocutory appeal procedure deprives this Court of jurisdiction over this appeal, which is hereby DISMISSED.
