Lahtinen, J.

Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Ulster County (McGinty, J.), entered September 18, 2007, which granted petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Social Services Law § 384-b, to adjudicate respondent’s child to be abandoned, and terminated respondent’s parental rights.

Respondent is the father of Léala T. (born in 2002). The child was removed from the mother by petitioner in May 2005 and has since remained in foster care.
