The petitioner Anthony Gilchrist's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 180 Conn.App. 56, 182 A.3d 690 (2018), is granted, limited to the following issue:

"Did the Appellate Court properly affirm the habeas court's dismissal of the petition when the habeas court took no action on the petitioner's request for counsel and did not give the petitioner notice and an opportunity to be heard on the court's own motion to dismiss the petition pursuant to Practice Book § 23-29?"
