LEVIN, District Judge.

The Court has before it a petition of Roy L. Bostick, a veteran, by the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, to compel respondent, General Motors Corporation, to readjust [213] his seniority date in conformance with the provisions of Section 8 of the Selective Service and Training Act of 1940, 54 Stat. 890, as amended, 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix, § 308 (c)
