Every citizen of the United States of the age of twenty-one years and upwards, who has resided in the state or territory one year and in the county wherein such residence is located sixty days next preceding any election, shall be entitled to vote at such election, except as herein otherwise provided. There are no longer durational residency requirements for electors. Since ratification of the 26th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution, twenty-one should read eighteen.
