(a) The legislature shall prescribe by law the qualifications of grand jurors and petit jurors. (b) The legislature shall enact laws to exclude from serving on juries persons who have been convicted of bribery, perjury, forgery, or other high crimes. (Former Sec. 14 repealed Nov. 5, 1985; current Sec. 14 added Nov. 6, 2001.) (Temporary transition provision for Sec. 14: see Appendix, Note 3.)
