§ 101-39.101 Notice of intention to begin a study. The Administrator, GSA, will ascertain the possibilities of economies to be derived through the establishment of a fleet management system in a specific geographical area. After preliminary investigation, he or she will notify the head of each agency concerned at least 30 calendar days in advance of the intent to conduct a study to develop data and justification as to the feasibility of establishing a fleet management system. The notification, in writing, will include:

(a)The approximate geographical area to be included in the study, including a defined mandatory use service area and an optional use service area; and
