Pub. L. 97–399, §1, Dec. 31, 1982, 96 Stat. 2012, provided that Pub. L. 97–399, enacting this part A (§1741 et seq.) of this subchapter, could be cited as the "Florida Indian Land Claims Settlement Act of 1982".
