Text

(a)In general On and after July 11, 1987, the Secretary of the Senate is authorized to use any available funds (but not in excess of $50,000 for any fiscal year), out of the appropriation account (within the Contingent Fund of the Senate) for the Secretary of the Senate, to assist him in the proper discharge, within the United States, of his appropriate responsibilities to members of foreign parliamentary groups or other foreign officials.
(b)Effective date The provisions of subsection (a) shall be effective in the case of expenditures for fiscal years ending after September 30, 1986.
(c)Transfer of funds Upon the written request of the Secretary of the Senate, and upon notification to the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate, there shall be transferred any amount of funds availabl
