(a)Applicants for master electrician, journeymen electrician, low voltage technician and limited technician licenses shall apply to the chief electrical inspector on a form furnished by the department and accompanied by the required examination fee. The form shall state the applicant's full name, his address, the extent of his experience and other information required by the department. An applicant who complies with the rules of the board, is qualified, successfully completes the examination and pays the required license fee shall be issued the proper license by the chief electrical inspector which bears the date of issue.
