§ 31-7-124 — Suspension or revocation of privileges of nonresidents; reporting of convictions, suspensions and revocations by division
(a)The privilege of a nonresident to drive a motor
vehicle on the highways of this state is subject to suspension
or revocation by the division under this act.
(b)The division, upon receiving a record of the
conviction in this state of a nonresident driver of a motor
vehicle of any offense, shall forward a certified copy of the
record to the motor vehicle administrator of the state of the
driver's residence and to the state issuing the license.
(c)When a nonresident's operating privilege is suspended
or revoked, the division shall forward a certified copy of the
record of the action to the motor vehicle administrator of the
state of the driver's residence and to the state issuing the
license.
