§ 14-6-712 — Application of higher federal standard
In any case where federal law applicable to an Indian child
custody proceeding provides a higher standard of protection to
the rights of the parent or Indian custodian than state law
provides, the court shall apply the higher standard of
protection as provided by federal law.
