§ 14-6-606 — Standardization of juvenile justice information

(a) The department shall facilitate the standardization,
identification, sharing and coordination of juvenile justice
information collected and provided to the department and
disseminated by the department as required by this act. The
department shall work with all federal, state and local entities
that provide information under this act.
(b) The department shall promulgate rules to adopt uniform
information collection standards, methodologies and best
practices for the collection and dissemination of juvenile
justice information under this act. Any state agency or local
governmental entity required to submit information under this
act shall comply with the rules promulgated under this
subsection.
(c) The department shall be responsible for assuring the
consistency of participation by any state agency or local
governmental entity required to provide juvenile justice
information under this act or that seeks to access juvenile
justice information under this act.
