Text
(a)In the administration and enforcement of this act and
in the effectuation of the policy of the state to conserve its
underground water resources, the state engineer is authorized
and empowered on advice and consent of the board of control:
(i)To prescribe such rules and regulations as may be
necessary or desirable to enable him to efficiently administer
this act;
(ii)To require such reports from well drillers as
may be necessary or desirable;
(iii)To require such annual reports from underground
water users as may be necessary or desirable;
(iv)To make such investigations as may be necessary
or desirable, and to cooperate in such investigations with
agencies of the United States, agencies of this state or any
other state, political subdivision of this state, any public or
