Text
By-product water is water which has not been put to prior
beneficial use, and which is a by-product of some
nonwater-related economic activity and has been developed only
as a result of such activity. By-product water includes, but is
not limited to, water resulting from the operation of oil well
separator systems or mining activities such as dewatering of
mines.
