Text
(a)Any dam subject to the terms of this act shall be
inspected at least once every ten (10) years or as often as
deemed necessary based on the hazards of the dam to insure the
continued protection of public safety and property.
(b)Inspections referred to in subsection (a) of this
section shall be performed by the state engineer or his
appointed representative who shall have right of entry upon
private or government lands and is authorized to inspect the
owner's technical data and other documentation as may be
necessary to perform these inspections. All information obtained
as a result of the inspections shall be filed in the state
engineer's office.
(c)Inspections required under this section shall be made
at state expense except as provided in W.S. 41-3-312 when a dam,
reservoir or dive
