Text
(a)If shelter care of a child appears necessary to the
person taking custody of the child, the child shall be delivered
as soon as possible to the court or to the department of family
services pending a hearing.
(b)Repealed By Laws 2005, ch. 236, § 4.
(c)The department of family services shall promptly
notify the court and the district attorney of any child being
cared for by the department without a court order and shall
deliver the child to the court upon request.
(d)The department of family services shall care for the
child under this section pursuant to temporary protective
custody provisions as specified in W.S. 14-3-208.
