§ 26-17-119 — Conversion on termination of policy

(a)If the group policy terminates or is amended to terminate the insurance of any class of insured persons, any person insured thereunder at the date of the termination whose insurance terminates, including the insured dependent of a covered person, which insured or insured dependent has been so insured for at least three (3) years prior to the termination date is entitled to have issued to him by the insurer an individual life insurance policy, subject to the same conditions provided by W.S. 26-17-118, except that the group policy shall provide that the amount of the individual policy is the amount of the person's life insurance protection ceasing because of the termination or amendment of the group policy, less the amount of any life insurance for which he is or becomes eligible under a
