§ 35-1-244 — Public health laboratory fees
(a)The department of health may charge reasonable fees
for laboratory testing services provided to other state
agencies, local law enforcement entities and other individuals
or organizations in accordance with the following:
(i)Fees shall be established by rule or regulation
promulgated in accordance with the Wyoming Administrative
Procedure Act;
(ii)Fees shall be established in an amount
sufficient to recoup the department's cost of providing the
laboratory testing services.
(b)The department shall only charge fees pursuant to this
section if the department makes personnel available to testify
in criminal trials as to the department's laboratory testing
results.
(c)Fees collected by the department pursuant to this
section shall be credited to a special revenue account. No
