Text
(a)The department and water development office shall
maintain an inventory of publicly owned water systems within the
state, which inventory may consist of such information as the
department and water development office deem necessary to
include information as provided by the environmental protection
agency.
(b)The department and water development office shall
conduct sanitary surveys of community and nontransient
noncommunity water systems within the state. The sanitary
surveys shall be conducted no less than every five (5) years and
information contained in the surveys shall be used in
establishing the priority ranking list for eligible projects as
part of this program.
