Text
(a)The department shall conduct and make available to the
office of state lands and investments a review of potential
environmental impacts of projects receiving assistance from the
account. The environmental review process shall:
(i)Contain mechanisms requiring implementation of
mitigation measures to ensure the project is environmentally
sound;
(ii)Allow the public an opportunity to challenge
environmental review determinations and enforcement actions;
(iii)Employ an interdisciplinary approach to
identify and mitigate adverse environmental effects including
all pertinent state and federal authorities;
(iv)Include documentation of information, processes
and premises that influence decisions;
(v)Require public notice and participation;
(vi)Include evaluation criteria and a process
