An indictment for bigamy shall be sufficient if it be in form, tenor or effect as follows (after following the form in section one): That A ..............., on the ........ day of ........, nineteen ........, in ........ county in the state of ........., did intermarry with, in due form of law, one B ..............., and have her for his wife (or him for her husband), and afterward, while he (or she) was so lawfully married to the said B ..............., the said A ............... did feloniously and unlawfully marry and take to wife (or husband) one C ..............., on the ......... day of ........., nineteen ........, in the county of ......... in the State of West Virginia, the said B ............... being still alive, against the peace and dignity of the state.
