The West Virginia state fair board may apply annually to the Tax Commissioner for a state fair online raffle license to provide for the conduct of online raffle occasions. The license shall permit the state fair board to have one or more persons conduct online raffle occasions who have conducted online raffle occasions on a regular basis for a least one year prior to the date of the state fair board's application. The state fair shall pay a license fee of $500 which shall be paid to the Tax Commissioner for the state fair online raffle license. The provisions of §47-21A-11, §47-21A-12, and §47-21A-13 of the code do not apply to a state fair raffle license.
