Text

An electronic voting system that has been approved in accordance with section eight of this article may be adopted for use in general, primary and special elections in any county by the following procedure and not otherwise: By a majority of the members of the county commission voting to adopt the same at a public meeting regularly called for that purpose: Provided, That the meeting be held not less than six months prior to the next scheduled primary or general election, with notice published as a Class II-0 legal advertisement in compliance with the provisions of article three, chapter fifty-nine of this code. The publication area for such publication shall be the county involved.
