§ 21A-2-16 — Federal-state cooperation

West Virginia·Ch. 21A UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION·Art. 2 THE COMMISSIONER OF WORKFORCE WEST VIRGINIA
The commissioner shall have all powers and duties necessary to secure to the state the benefits of congressional action for the promotion and maintenance of a system of public employment offices. To this end the provisions of the act referred to in the preceding section and such additional congressional action consistent with the above act are accepted by the state and the state pledges its observance and compliance therewith. The Bureau of Employment Programs, by its commissioner, is designated the agent of this state for the purpose of compliance with the act of Congress entitled "An act to provide for the establishment of a national employment system and for cooperation with states in the promotion of such systems, and for other purposes," approved June 6, 1933, as amended: Provided, T
