Text

The director may issue a license to any resident of West Virginia or Ohio to take fish or mussels for commercial purposes from any portion or all of the main stem of the Ohio River bordering West Virginia. Said license shall be required of every person engaged at any time in taking fish or mussels for commercial purposes. All nets, traps or other devices used to take fish or mussels according to the provisions of this section shall be plainly marked with a durable plate or tag bearing the name and address of the owner of said nets, traps or other devices and an accurate report of any fish or mussels caught therein shall be submitted to the director by the license holder.
