Text

In the event that an instruction permit or driver’s license issued under the provisions of this chapter is lost or destroyed, or if the information contained on the license has changed, the person to whom the permit or license was issued may upon making proper application and upon payment of a fee of $7.50 obtain a duplicate thereof upon furnishing proof satisfactory to the division that the permit or license has been lost or destroyed. The Division of Motor Vehicles may adjust this fee every five years on September 1, based on the U.

S.Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics most current Consumer Price Index: Provided, That an increase in such fee may not exceed ten percent of the total fee amount in a single year. The provisions of this article enacted in 2017 take effect on Ju
