863.45 If a distributee of an estate is a minor or an individual adjudicated incompetent and has within this state a guardian of his or her estate, the personal representative shall deliver the money or other property to the guardian of the estate, take a receipt from the guardian of the estate, and file the receipt with the court. The court shall transmit a certified copy of the receipt to the court which appointed the guardian of the estate.
