704.44 Notwithstanding s. 704.02 , a residential rental agreement is void and unenforceable if it does any of the following: 704.44(1m) (1m) Allows a landlord to do any of the following because a tenant has contacted an entity for law enforcement services, health services, or safety services: 704.44(1m)(a) (a) Increase rent. 704.44(1m)(b) (b) Decrease services. 704.44(1m)(c) (c) Bring an action for possession of the premises. 704.44(1m)(d) (d) Refuse to renew a rental agreement. 704.44(1m)(e) (e) Threaten to take any action under pars.
