440.19 A person who holds a credential may voluntarily surrender that credential. The department, examining board, affiliated credentialing board, or board of the department that issued the credential may refuse to accept that surrender if a complaint has been filed or disciplinary proceeding has been commenced against the person under s. 440.20 .
